When Liz (the loving fur mama to these sweet dogs) reached out a few weeks ago asking if I take portraits of the family pets, my answer was a loud YES! If you are a pet owner, then you know how much a special part of the family these fur babies become. They hold a big place in all of our hearts and deserve to have their personalities captured too!
Scout is a 12 year old English Setter and Ely is her 8 year old fur sister and are both the kindest, sweetest, and calm dogs. Scout was the perfect lady for her portraits, while Ely was a bit more skittish and didn’t like the feel of the paper on her feet. Once we got her on the hardwood floor, she settled down and was ready to get her portrait taken.
In just a few minutes, I was able to capture some great ‘smiles’, tongues, and ears of both girls (and even a few of the together!) that Liz informed me captured each of her girls’ personalities perfectly. I hope that the whole family will be able to cherish the memories and share stories of each of these girls for years to come.
